"Sunset Station and KOMP 92.3 FM…The Rock Station have partnered for a free concert series every second Saturday of the month beginning June 13 and running through October. The concerts will feature the best rock tribute bands performing poolside as well as a delicious and affordable barbecue.
The Second Saturdays at Sunset Station concert series will be a giant party with music, swimming, lounging, dancing and best of all cocktails and barbecue. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 p.m. at the poolside stage. The concerts will feature a tasty barbecue sponsored by KOMP with $1 nachos, $2 hotdogs and $3 burgers – the first 92 people in the door will receive a voucher for one free nacho, hot dog, hamburger and draft beer. Drink specials include $1 draft beer, free Bacardi punch from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and $2 shot specials throughout the night.
Admission is free of charge which gives guests complete access to the barbecue, concert and pool area. The concert was OK. Personally I never heard of them before but the music was good. More important was the free drinks and great socialization.

To my new friends from England, The Netherlands, New Zealand ET AL. I hope you had a great and memorable trip to the US and a safe journey home. In addition, I never knew the Brits had such cute ladies. I may have you journey there one day for further investigation.

Let me begin by stating that I'm not that into reggae. But with three rum drinks in me I was dancing to the DJ's selections before the main concert.

The Spy On Vegas /944 photo crew was out in force taking pictures and video of all of the party people.

I had a blast. Steele Pulse Rocked the poolside venue and I danced the concert away with a lovely hottie (name withheld to protect the less than innocent). Oh yes, I'll be looking for you again. I can't remember having so much fun.

I am paying for it today with lots of sore muscles but more than well worth it.
